We edged along As we made Our Way
The Ledge Along Inside
I Crawled The Reef
Along the Path The Coral
Towered above Like
Three Nights & Two days A Silent Forest
In a small white Tent
As the Beginning The Shark
Of the monsoon Rain Snapped the Tuna
Hammered Down I had Caught
In Half
LandSlide
Shouted the Guide As I looked
Run Back & Above
The Turtle
As I Rode paraglided
Through the Desert Down & Away
The Back of My Throat In the Twinkling
Felt very Dry Of an Eye
Yet in the Shade
There was a chill Wind I
Sat
As I passed Through MotionLess
The Village
On the Camel In the Pool
The Girl Who Of the Stream
Had been Bathing
Fleetingly opened Her Going Down
Thin Wrap To the Sea
&
Revealed her Beauty I
To Me Felt
Something
I Touch my Leg
Cut through the Bush
At Night I
Looked Down
Life is But The long Black
a SeaSnake
Thin Thread Wriggled Quickly On
